IMPERIUM HOME SOLUTIONS WARRANTIES

Imperium Home Solutions Australia Pty Ltd is the holding company of Wardrobe World Australia Pty Ltd ( Wardrobe World) and GarageSmart Asia Pacific Pty Ltd (GarageSmart)

 

1. Our goods come with warranties that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

2. Where you are not a “consumer” within the meaning of Australian Consumer Law, the warranties referred to in the preceding paragraph do not apply.

3. In addition to any rights and remedies that you may have under Australian Consumer Law or any other law and subject to the conditions below:

  • 3.1 ClosetMaid Products

    All ClosetMaid products supplied by Wardrobe World are covered by a replacement 5 year warranty (“Replacement Warranty”) from the date of installation. If a product proves defective by reason of faulty workmanship or materials within that warranty period, Wardrobe World will repair or replace the product without charge. Labour, freight and travel costs excluded. The Replacement Warranty shall not apply and to the extent permitted by law Wardrobe World shall not be liable if there is a failure to comply with the manufacturer’s instructions or the ClosetMaid Products are not installed by a Wardrobe World recommended installer or dealer in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

  • 3.2 Wardrobe World Home Brand Products

    All Wardrobe World Home Brand Products are covered by a 5 year replacement warranty (5 year Warranty) from the date of installation. Labour, freight and travel costs excluded. The 5 year Warranty shall not apply and to the extent permitted by law Wardrobe World shall not be liable if there is a failure to comply with the installation instructions or the Wardrobe World Home Brand Products are not installed by a Wardrobe World recommended installer or dealer in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

  • 3.3 GarageSmart Products

    All wall products and accessories are covered by a 5 Year Product Warranty, subject to adherence to the recommended maximum weight bearing capacity. The Warranty covers all products, labour and parts for 5 Years from the date of installation. The Warranty shall not apply if the GarageSmart Products have not been installed in accordance with the product instructions.

Conditions

  1. The Warranties do not cover normal wear and tear including fading from direct sunlight.
  2. The Warranties do not cover accidental damage, misuse or incorrect installation by the Customer.
  3. Under the Warranties, components and materials may need to be replaced with updated parts and materials.
  4. Call out fees and delivery will be payable if the repairs are requested on site after the first three (3) months. However, GarageSmart and Wardrobe World reserve the right to remove product/s from the Client’s home for the purpose of rectification.
  5. The Warranties are not transferable and receipts must be presented before any work can be carried out.
  6. The Warranties are only valid when the GarageSmart, ClosetMaid or Wardrobe World Home Brand Products and accessories have been fully paid for and installed by a GarageSmart or Wardrobe World recommended installer or dealer.
  7. All Warranties are void if products are misused.
  8. The Warranties are limited to the replacement and/or reinstallation of the product and in no event shall a claim exceed the amount paid for the product and installation.
  9. These warranties set out the exclusive rights of the customer and all other warranties, expressed or implied, are hereby excluded (save where they cannot be excluded at law).

In order to claim under the Warranties you must: a. Contact us at the address below within the warranty period; or b. Contact the supplier within the warranty period; and c. Provide the original proof of purchase.
